The Super Bowl is another great time to visit San Jose. At the Hotel Del Rey, the world class barmaids show off their spirit by dressing up in cheerleading outfits in the colors of the two teams.
They will also be serving up a free buffet. The Sportsmens Lodge Hosts an annual party for 200 lucky patrons that starts 3 hours before kickoff until an hour after the game ends. It includes an open bar, food, dancing girls and music for $50 or $45 for CRT VIP members. This event is always a sellout and you can order your tickets in advance by phone.
The Hotel Little Havana, under new ownership since October 2011, is hosting a party that features no cover charge, drink and food specials, free raffles and lots of pretty girls to distract you from the action on the flat screens. They will also be hosting a Mardi Gras party on February 25 and a St Patricks Day party on March 21.
Another big attraction is the ability to bet the game at one of the casinos adjacent to the Del Rey or in the mobile sports books that will be available at both the Sportsmens and at Little Havana. Like Halloween, it is best to plan ahead and book your rooms early for this festive weekend.
